Nucleus Independent Living is a Non-Profit Organization that has been providing Attendant Services to individuals with Physical Disabilities Since 1983.
Our staff assist individuals with their activities of daily living such as showering, dressing, personal care etc. Homemaking is generally limited to clean up related to assistance with meal preparation and dining and personal hygiene.
The person with a physical disability (consumer) directs the staff in their duties. This is because our service delivery model is based on an independent living philosophy.

The Independent living philosophy is based on an individuals right to make choices and take risks.
We believe that people with physical disabilities have a right to live in their community and with that right comes responsibility. Consumers are responsible for letting us know what service they require, when and how they wish it to be provided and how they want it done.
